In Amazon’s UK store, Not Exactly Allies is currently sitting side by side with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, with LeCarre’s book heading the paid list, and my book heading the free list.

For the record, Not Exactly Allies, the third book in the MI5 1/2 Series, is rather less serious than the competition. There’s more romance (clean romance, by the way), more humor (or do I mean humour?), and more Christianity in evidence. There’s a lot about corrupt people in government, and moles, and such, so it is a book about intrigue. But don’t expect gritty or hard boiled.

The free promotion ends tonight, at about midnight Pacific time. The first two books in the series are sale priced at 99 cents for Kindle, through the weekend.

MI5 1/2 Sale, and another freebie promotion

Whew, what a month. I think I’m close to releasing my next book in an Advance Reader Copy soon, but in the meantime, how about picking up the Kindle editions of the first two MI5 1/2 books for 99 cents each? (Prices are set to go back up next week.) That would be Not Exactly Dead, and Not Exactly Innocent.

One reason I’ve dropped the price on those two is that the third book in the series, Not Exactly Allies, will be free for Kindle on Thursday and Friday of this week. And it really is nice if you can read a series in order, don’t you think?

In other news, Why We Raise Belgian Horses now has a review – with five stars – at Amazon. Perhaps you’d like to read it.

Over at Barnes and Noble, Almost Hopeless Horse now has three five-star reviews. It’s my bestseller for both Kindle and Nook this month, as it has been most months. I still have it at 99 cents, but am fighting a temptation to go to perhaps $1.99. (It’s a fairly short kid’s book, so I probably won’t ever price it very high, but still…)

Amazon Prime members will be able to borrow it for free for a few weeks longer, but this Thursday anyone who reads via Kindle will be able to download a copy to keep, free of charge.
